Laure-Jeanne Davignon
Principal
Laure-Jeanne is a leading clean energy workforce expert focused on accelerating the just transition to a carbon-free economy through national and international efforts to cultivate a diverse, highly skilled workforce. She is a leader well-versed in all aspects of organizational management, most recently as vice president for a national clean energy nonprofit. LJ conceptualizes, secures funding, and implements projects across the workforce ecosystem, and is a frequent presenter in national and international forums. She is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and lives in upstate NY, where she powers her home through one of the first community solar projects in the region.
Heidi Longton, CMP, CMM
Principal
As a 30-year veteran of the industry, Heidi Longton is best known for her work in associations. During that time, she has served as a consultant, director of convention & meetings, director of client operations, team lead and co-created M3 – Manage, Mentor, Motivate© - a curriculum designed for mid-level hotel managers. Heidi has served as adjunct faculty for area colleges and universities. Prior to that, she was employed in the supply side of the industry, in a variety of food and beverage positions in resorts, hotels, and banquet operations. Heidi has been an engaged member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) in the Upstate New York Chapter (UNY) since 2004. She is a past president of MPI Northeastern New York Chapter. Heidi was named by MPI as one of three members globally to be a founding core leader and member of its new Association Planners Advisory Board. She is an MPI Certified Facilitator and Accredited Trainer, holds a Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) and the Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) designation. She holds graduate and bachelor’s degrees from the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Heidi is the recipient of three MPI chapter awards; the Industry Leader Award and two President’s Awards. She is a frequent speaker and panel facilitator at industry events.
